Top 10 Best Local Plumbers In Pennsylvania – Few days ago i call 412 Plumbing, Unfortunately after working with 412 plumbing i have learned that reviews are not always accurate. In short, their communication and overall professionalism was an extreme letdown. I received 5 estimates from different companies for two plumbing jobs that needed completed simultaneously. I chose 412 plumbing because they promised some things (which i incorrectly believed) that the other companies did not. One, they offered an earlier start date and two, they stated that they would be using a dumpster to put all of the dirt that would be dug up (from digging a 10 foot hole in my yard) into and to also protect the integrity of my retaining wall. I was told by the receptionist, mandy, via email and on the phone that i had a date reserved. I was obtaining financing through their recommendation and was told by the financier that nothing needed to be done until after the job was completed, then i sign the check. The day that they were supposed to arrive for the job i got a call from mandy (after i emailed) saying that since i never called her back and told her what was going on with financing they weren’t coming. 1. I was never told to call her back 2. I had the date confirmed twice (once in writing) 3. She never bothered to call me to ask about it and 4. There was no reason me obtaining financing would delay the start of work. Again, it’s astounding a company who has a confirmed date with a customer would not take initiative to call if they had any questions. The next letdown, a dumpster was never delivered. Dirt is placed directly on my lawn so not only was there a huge 10 foot hole with half of the yard destroyed, the other half is now destroyed by a dirt hill. My retaining wall had about a quarter inch lean on one end which was discussed with brett (the owner) prior to scheduling the job and he assured us the dumpster pushed up against the wall would prevent any issues from occurring. Since he never brought the dumpster as promised, the wall has now separated and has cracks throughout that were not present before (i have before and after pictures). Not only was the dumpster not used but there was no price adjustment for the fact that something that was promised was never delivered. The yard was left a mess with huge stones and compacted dirt throughout and multiple neighbors commented on how much work we had to do to clean up after them. Since the job finished in early september, we have asked for a final bill detailing the work done three times. Once in september and twice now in october which they have still not provided and almost always never respond to the outreach attempts. I have worked with contractors for various projects around the house and have never been so disappointed by the lack of communication and overall professionalism..
